Daffan Mechanical

Daffan Mechanical was originally founded in 1999.  Tom Peregrino joined the business venture within months. David Daffan, began working in HVAC at the age of 18. Established and successful, Tom and David became the sole owners of Daffan Mechanical in 2011.

Tom and David, savvy in the HVAC business with years of experience under their belt, immediately got to work with the milestone of their new positions as President and Vice President.  Today, Tom and David share the same ideals: that a successful company must invest in its employees, encouraging wellness, both as a team and individually.

Both Tom and David make a concentrated effort to invest in the welfare of their staff. In conjunction with highly competitive salaries, they offer generous employee incentives for the company to grow physically, mentally and personally. Their incentives include Fun Runs, marriage retreats, and personal and professional education, to name a few. They understand that happy employees equal happy customers. Their formula is working, the company has consistently grown, year after year, to become the largest residential HVAC company in the area. They were voted “Best AC Company in Hood County” for five straight years and have an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.

Tom Peregrino,  President

Tom and his wife, Lisa, moved to Granbury in the early 90s from Amarillo, TX, as his wife accepted a position with Aramark at Tarleton State University. Starting out as a HVAC estimator, Tom moved on to become General Manager of Daffan Mechanical. Twenty years later,  he is President and co-owner of Daffan Mechanical with David Daffan.

David Daffan,  Vice President

Growing up in Glen Rose, David’s initial aspirations were to work as a Police Officer. Daffan Mechanical opened its doors in 1999, and at the age of 18, David helped his Uncle build the business from the ground up. After attending Mary Hardin Baylor for a time, he decided to focus on HVAC. He switched gears and studied HVAC and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology at nearby Hill College located in Cleburne. 15 years later, after his uncle retired, he is Vice President and co-owner of Daffan Mechanical with Tom Peregrino.

Daisy  The Daffan Dog

Tom, one of our owners, has always maintained the goal of conducting business with honesty and integrity. He believes it’s important that our customers have trust in Daffan, and they do. Tom wanted a physical representation of the trust our customers have in us. A company mascot! Thus was born the desire to find our Daisy. Daisy came to Daffan February 13, 2014. What a great Valentine’s gift she was.

What does Daisy do when she’s not at Daffan? Daisy has a loving mom who brings her to work each day. Daisy lives with her at night and on the weekends. She has many playdates with her best friend, Jack. Visitors to Daffan are often greeted with a smile and a hello from Daisy.
